Join Us for the 66th Annual NFBV State Convention

The NFBV State Convention brings together the largest gathering of blind and low vision students, working adults, seniors and caretakers from across Virginia the weekend of October 31 - November 3, 2024 at the Renaissance Portsmouth-Norfolk Waterfront Hotel in Old Town Portsmouth (discounted room rates and reservation details can be found here).

Please Note: The deadline for Exhibit/sponsorship registrations is midnight on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Registrations received after the cutoff will be considered, although all listed benefits cannot be guaranteed.

NFBV chapters and devisions whishing to exhibit must also register, and the price is $25.

Sponsorship Packages and Benefits

Pioneer ($225 Nonprofit/$300 For Profit)

There are two Pioneer packages available to accommodate both virtual and in-person exhibitors.

  • In-person:
    • Complementary use of a 3x6 table and exhibit hall placement on Friday, Nov. 1
    • Complementary convention registration for up to 2(2) representatives from your organization
    • Sponsorship recognition in the convention program
  • Virtual:
    • Ability to host a 45-minute live or pre-recorded exhibit table via Zoom to demo your product or service and answer attendee questions. Virtual sessions will be held October 28-30, 2024 between 6p ET and 9p ET.
    • Post-convention hosting of your virtual exhibit recording on the NFBV YouTube channel
    • Sponsorship recognition in the convention program

    Trail Blazer ($450 Nonprofit/$600 For Profit)

    • Complementary use of a 3x6 table and exhibit hall placement throughout the event
    • Complementary convention registration for up to 2(2) representatives from your organization
    • Sponsorship recognition in the convention program
    • Social media shout-out on Facebook and Instagram, including a tag of your page(s)
    • Website placement of your organization name and logo on the state convention page
    • Print and digital distribution of sponsored-provided collateral with registration materials
    • Opportunity to be one of two exclusive sponsors of (1) general session and to have a session speaker read a 30-second promotion for your organization. ***General sessions are limited, so sponsor opportunities will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.

    Innovator ($825 Nonprofit/$1,100 For Profit)

    • Complementary use of a 3x6 table and exhibit hall placement throughout the event
    • Complementary convention registration for up to 4(4) representatives from your organization, including lunch vouchers for the day of the exhibit hall
    • Sponsorship recognition in the convention program
    • Social media shout-out on Facebook and Instagram, including a tag of your page(s)
    • Website placement of your organization name and logo on the state convention page
    • Print and digital distribution of sponsored-provided collateral with registration materials
    • Distribution of (1) targeted e-blast to the entire database of NFBV newsletter subscribers

    Vanguard ($1,575 Nonprofit/$2,100 For Profit)

    • Complementary convention registration for up to 4(4) representatives from your organization, including lunch vouchers for the day of the exhibit hall
    • Sponsorship recognition in the convention program
    • Social media shout-out on Facebook and Instagram, including a tag of your page(s)
    • Website placement of your organization name and logo on the state convention page
    • Ability to have (1) 60-second ad placed on the NFBV YouTube channel
    • Print and digital distribution of sponsored-provided collateral with registration materials
    • Distribution of (1) targeted e-blast to the entire database of NFBV newsletter subscribers
    • Opportunity to be the exclusive sponsore for (1) break-out session and deliver a two-minute remark. ***Break-out sessions are limited, so sponsor placements will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis.
    • Opportunity to be the exclusive sponsor of one of three morning coffee stations
    • Ability to deliver a two-minute remark during the convention banquet

    Exhibit Hall Details


    The exhibit hall will be open to attendees on Friday, November 1, 2024 between 12p ET and 6p ET. Exhibitors will be allotted two hours for setup between 10a-12p ET the day of, and will need to have their areas cleared no later than 7p ET.
    Each Exhibitor will be provided with a skirted and draped 3’ x 6’ exhibit tabletop and two chairs. One (1) electrical outlet is available for $25 when requested on the Exhibitor/Sponsor Registration form. Sponsor must provide their own power strip. A heavy-duty extension cord is encouraged to ensure easy access to electricity. If you have electrical needs beyond that of 1 outlet, they can be arranged with the exhibits manager:
