Bus Transportation for State Convention

  1. Home
  2. Bus Transportation for State Convention

We are planning a Southbound bus on Thursday, October 30 and a Northbound Bus on Sunday, November 2nd to help get attendees conveniently to and from state convention, as there is no direct way to get to the Virginia Beach Wyndham using a single public transportation source. Amtrak service to Virginia beach requires transfer from the train in Newport News or Norfolk to a bus, which next takes you to a destination in Virginia Beach, that then requires taking Uber to the hotel. Our bus is both convenient and affordable.

Please note that the estimated cost of transportation for bus one is $75 each way per person, or $150 round-trip. While we are not collecting payment with the below form, by submitting the form, you are committing to honoring paying for your seat selection, even if you change your mind later and do not end up taking the bus. We are being strict with this policy because there are limited seats, and all seats are allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the affiliate has to front all costs. We will be collecting payments on-site at convention via credit card, cash or check.

Note that for bus two out of Winchester, the cost is slightly different and you should reference the details below.

Bus Routes

There are two different bus options to help serve attendees in different parts of the state; please note that while the first option requires filling out the form below, the second route with Winchester requires that you contact the chapter directly (details below).

Bus 1: Loudoun, Arlington, Alexandria, Fredericksburg and Richmond

Starting on Thursday, October 30 beginning at 9:00 AM:

  • Stop 1: Sterling location to be defined by Loudoun Chapter.
